because our library seems to attract a large delinquent youth population they have started this really excellent youth lounge program which, on one night per week, brings the kids together with a youth social worker, pizza, and foosball and internet games. they saunter into the library and pretend that they don’t want to be there, but as soon as the food and games come out it’s like a party.
the children’s librarian, understanding that I am close to losing the plot over the lms implementation and various hindering factors, kindly offered me the use of the new nintendo wii system which is on loan from the company. the wii system came with the sports games, including boxing. so at the end of the day i have been able put my gloves on and virtually hit a guy in shiny blue boxing shorts.
