Thanks bobo, scott and mrs martin who have sent me the  link to this NY Times article .  I’m glad that the media is beginning to recognise librarians as ‘real’ people. but at the same time, writing an article like this also highlights that fact that librarians are also classified as social misfits.  and some of us are.  but at least we are helpful, in general.
